Bulimia, Diets And The New You!
Happy New Year Bulimia busters!
Wow! we are 11 days in to our brand new year! Here's hoping it is bulimia free for you so far?
Some of you may have already made a cracking start on your bulimia recovery and pursuing your quest to nail your binging and purging once and for all. If you are one of them, great decision .. Keep Going!.. Take each day as a brand new challenge and conquer it. Never be afraid to ask for help.. that's what we are here for!
If after the 1st week, your new resolve to recover from bulimia looks somewhat tainted, your will already broken, self confidence wrecked and you are already in a state of collapse.. I have one word for you: Persevere!!!
It is very easy to get overwhelmed by the little pounds that crept their way in over the Christmas period. The key is not to let this affect or contaminate your over all emotions or resolve to set your self free from your bulimic ways. None of us are perfect , and no one day will ever be the same or sail smoothly for us without some challenge! That's ok and that's just life .. Do you give up at the 1st hurdle? NO!!
The key is not to give way to diets that promise you fast results, effortless weight loss or cheap results..as they never last!!! Infact WILL go on to make your bulimic thinking much more lasting and more damaging!
Ever heard of the saying : "If you continue to do what your've always done you will continue to get what you've always got! Never more truer for your bulimia treatment and recovery!
Bulimia recovery..at least the lasting one for life, will demand all your courage.. dedication to hard work, your willingness to stay on the course. There are no short cuts here.. The solution is in learning new skills for life to over turn the old unhealthy patterns of bingeing and purging or using compensatory methods such as laxative abuse or over exercising.
Stay tuned folks.. BulimiaHope will take you in to the new year safely, healthily and with full of high body confidence that you will be proud of!!
Here's to our successful adventure together!
with warm wishes
