You CAN Beat Bulimia if you think you can!
Hello Bulimia Beaters!
Here's an inspirational poem By Raymond Holliwell, for you to print out and read everyday!
Here's an inspirational poem By Raymond Holliwell, for you to print out and read everyday!
YOU CAN!
If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you won't!
If you'd like to win but think you can't, it's almost a cinch you wont!
If you think you'll lose, you've lost, for out in the world
we find success begins with ther person's will.
It's all in the state of mind.
If you think you're outclassed, you are!
You have got to think high to rise.
You got to be sure of your self before you can ever win a prize.
Life's battles don't always go to the stronger or the faster ones.
But sooner or later, the person who wins is the person who thinks they can"
Bulimia recovery is the same ....you WILL succeed provided you think you CAN!
No more room for self doubts, second guesses, and defeated thoughts folks!
It's time to rise and walk in the direction you wish to carve your bulimia free path!
Happy World's Women Day !
with warm wishes

1
I walk down the street
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk
I fall in
I am lost..i am helpless
It isn’t my fault
It takes forever to find a way out
2
I walk down the same street
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk
I pretend I don’t see it
I fall in again
I can’t believe I’m here in the same place
But it isn’t my fault
It still takes me forever to get out
3
I walk down the same street
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk
I see it there
I still fall in..it’s a habit
My eyes are open
I know where I am
It is my fault
I get out immediately
4
I walk down the same street
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk
I walk around it
5
I walk down another street
I walk down the street
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk
I fall in
I am lost..i am helpless
It isn’t my fault
It takes forever to find a way out

The beauty of this poem is in the way, it could easily illustrate the journey of a Bulimic sufferer going through various stages of changes :
From a place of Helpless Victim, to that of Concious Ignorant state, through to becoming Aware of habits and taking ownership, then re-inforcing it with Avoidance of trigger situations by forming New Skills and right through to practicing Choices and preventions mindset that promotes MASTRY of your BULIMIA RECOVERY for life!
Feel free to print this out and read it every day to help you stay on your Right Path!
with warm wishes
